- – – – – – – – – – – – DEUTSCHE BESCHREIBUNG – – – – – – – – – – – –Die Gruppe Konverter wurde im Winter 07/08 gebildet, anfänglich nur als ein Kollektiv, das sich in seiner Freizeit mit Kunst beschäftigt. Von dort aus entfaltete sich eine vielgestaltige Praxis und theoretische Bemühungen, die Rolle von Kunst und das Verhältnis derselben zum Spektakel, der Kulturindustrie und kapitalistischer Totalität zu begreifen und zu hinterfragen.
Im Frühjahr 2016 fand die zunehmend politischere Analyse ihren Ausdruck in der Gründung der DI. Der Konverter begreift seine Praxis seither als bewusst dilettantistisch. In der Gruppe Konverter kann jede/r mitmachen.Links:

Originally meant as a collective of people interested in arts in their sparetime, we started to organize different pracital approaches and reflected on art itself and its function within the spectacle, the cultural industry and capitalist totality in general.
Our continous practice and reflection lead to the founding of the Dilettantist International in spring 2016. Since then, Konverter considers all its approaches as purely diettantist. Group Konverter is open to join for everyone.For Links see above (sorry, everything in german…)
