After more than 40 years Ben Morea returns to the site of revolution. We know him from his own storys, his vision and from the streets. He’s visiting us in zurich from the 9th till the 16th of october, to talk about the past, to think about the future and to live a radical present. Under the appeal «Up Against!» we invite everybody to become part of a week long program.

We will start the week on Monday the 9th with a big Vokü at UpState and RAF (Raum für Autonomie und Ferlehrnen) both at Flüelastrasse 54. At UpState we open a fragmented A-ggregation with material of the anarchist journal «Black Mask» and the group «Up Against The Wall, Motherfucker!», in which Ben Morea was one of the driving forces. The negotiable representation of material by «Black Mask» and «Up Against The Wall, Motherfucker!» will be extended, commented, updated and rectified with inputs and material of the present.

UpState, Flüelastrasse 54, Zurich.
From the 9th to 14th October, the event week UP AGAINST! will take place in Zurich, about anarchist and artistic processes. The idea is to develop a program with planned and spontaneous contributions, events, actions or other experiments, which pursues a question: “What will happen on Saturday, at the end of the week?”. The goal is to renew and activate a networking of actors in this city and beyond.

On Tuesday, 3 October at 20h, an open meeting will take place at UpState, Flüelastrasse 54, for the preparation, information and overview of the autonomously organized event week. With information on the event week, exchange on the individual ideas, contributions and plans for actions, events or other experiments. For a joint overview of places, times and contents, with the focus on the autonomous organization of the events. To exchange ideas, references and interests for collaborations and additions among each other, but also for small individual conversations and possible new connecting points.
